Fire Sprinkler Apprentice

Cintas is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice for our Fire Protection business. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who would like to learn a trade in the Fire Protection industry. This position provides valuable work experience by working alongside a technician in the service, inspection, and repair of sprinkler systems. Our progressive training approach combines on‑the‑job training, online and classroom instruction.

The candidate will be paired with a qualified technician to receive on‑the‑job training. Cintas partners with outside vendors for additional instruction. Our progressive training program will give you the tools and certifications to become a qualified Fire Sprinkler Technician, where job duties will include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to prescribed standards, performing on‑site emergency repairs, and identifying non‑conformances to code.

• Work alongside a technician in service, inspection, and repair of sprinkler systems.
• Receive on‑the‑job training from a qualified technician.
• Partner with outside vendors for additional instruction.
• Conduct service calls, systems testing and inspections to prescribed standards.
• Perform on‑site emergency repairs of customer sprinkler systems.
• Identify non‑conformances to code.
• Gain necessary tools and certifications to progress to a qualified Fire Sprinkler Technician.

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred

• Experience in the Fire Protection industry
• Experience with trades such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing
