- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Familiarity with builder s level, rule and framing square
- Familiarity with Transit
- Ability to work with power tools and hand tools
- Place tie-reinforcing steel
- Layout and erect structural framework, install partitions and lay subfloor
- Demolition
- Construct and erect forms and chutes for pouring concrete
- Place and finish concrete
- Erect ladders for assembling structures above ground level
- Layout and build stairs
- Fit and install window frames, doors, door frames, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim and finish hardware
