Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and/or industrial electrical experience, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality electrical installations and service. This role will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company standards, project specifications, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for commercial and industrial projects
• Install and maintain electrical systems including wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, lighting, controls, and electrical equipment
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
• Perform electrical testing and diagnostics to identify and resolve system issues
• Bend and install conduit, pull wire, terminate circuits, and complete electrical connections
• Install and troubleshoot electrical components including switches, outlets, fixtures, motors, and control systems
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NEC codes and OSHA standards
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential electrical hazards or system deficiencies
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other team members to complete projects on schedule
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, materials used, and job progress
• Provide guidance and support to apprentices and less experienced electricians when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site environment

• 3+ years of electrical experience in commercial electrical construction or service
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience installing conduit, panels, transformers, lighting systems, and electrical equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints
• Working knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete quality work independently
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
