Facilities Maintenance

Our client, a leader in facility operations and maintenance, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities department supporting the organization's operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Shift:
** Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform routine building and grounds maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, and drywall repairs.

+ Implement preventative maintenance measures to ensure optimal operation of facility systems.

+ Conduct daily visual and physical inspections of the facility and supporting equipment.

+ Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies to ensure readiness for maintenance tasks.

+ Oversee work from outside contractors and service providers such as plumbers and electricians, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School diploma or equivalent.

+ At least 5 years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+

Experience with industrial air compressor systems, process water chillers, cooling towers, fire suppression, and alarm systems.

+ Ability to operate tools and equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and hand trucks; experience with machine shop tools is a plus.

+ Strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
