Aerotek - - Responsibilities:
Removal, repair, overhaul, installation, alignment, and testing of mechanical and hydraulic systems on ships and submarines;
Repairing and overhauling ship mechanical and hydraulic components such as diesel engines, hatches, valves, pumps, and related equipment;
Performing work in accordance with SUBSAFE requirements and NAVSEA Submarine Safety Requirements Manual;
Specialized work on submarine sail components (periscopes, masts, antennas) and propulsion equipment (turbines, reduction gears, shafting, thrust bearings);
Troubleshooting marine engines, motors, pumps, and hydraulic systems in a shipyard or marine repair environment
