Role Description The Floor Coating Installation Specialist - Crew Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in Jacksonville, FL. This position is responsible for leading installation crews in preparing surfaces, mixing materials, and applying polyaspartic and other floor coatings to residential and commercial spaces. Daily tasks include reviewing job specifications, ensuring proper use of tools and equipment, monitoring quality and safety standards, and coordinating with customers and the office team on schedules and project updates.
The Crew Leader will train and guide crew members, troubleshoot issues on-site, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and document job progress and completion details. This role requires consistent punctuality, professional customer interaction, and adherence to company procedures and safety protocols.
Position Requirements:
- Reliable truck/SUV capable of pulling an OxFloor Trailer, less than 7 years old, in good condition.

- Availability to work six days per week.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong references to validate your experience and work ethic.
Qualifications
- Flooring and construction skills, including surface preparation, coating application, and safe use of tools and equipment.
- Leadership and team coordination skills, with experience directing crew activities, training team members, and managing daily workflow.
- Strong problem-solving and quality control skills, with the ability to identify issues, adjust techniques, and ensure high installation standards.
- Customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain processes, address questions, and maintain professional on-site interactions.
- Basic math and measurement skills for calculating material needs, coverage, and layout accuracy.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Jacksonville, FL.
- Prior experience in floor coatings, painting, concrete work, or related trades is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and follow technical instructions is essential.
- Commitment to safety practices, attention to detail, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently.
