Maintenance & Engineering Technician II

As a Maintenance Technician you will support both facility maintenance and material handling equipment (MHE) maintenance within our warehouse operations. The position splits responsibilities between maintaining building infrastructure and troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment.

Shift: Sun–Thur 3pm – 11:30pm

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, aerial lifts, and related warehouse equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and facility‑related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on both warehouse equipment and building systems to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Maintain facility systems including lighting, plumbing, doors, building infrastructure, and general equipment.
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting, minor repairs, HVAC support, mechanical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep.
• Support grounds maintenance and exterior facility upkeep as needed.
• Cross‑train in additional maintenance disciplines, including refrigeration systems and other industrial maintenance functions, to support career growth and operational flexibility.

• Previous experience in building maintenance, forklift maintenance, automotive, diesel, HVAC, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems.
• Experience supporting lighting, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs is a plus.
• Refrigeration and/or ammonia experience is a plus.
• OSHA, forklift certification, HVAC certification, or related technical training is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize repairs.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in cold storage environments.
• Perform work at heights and safely operate tools and equipment.
