Landscape Foreman Construction

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly job site inspections
• Complete job site checklist
• Install required materials for landscaping, irrigation, and site development
• Schedule delivery of materials and equipment
• Maintain crew production rates, quality control, and safety
• Assist in job scheduling and coordination of subcontractors
• Ensure all employees attend the weekly tailgate meeting
• Confirm all employees operate safely at all times, performing hard‑hat checks, safety gear checks, underground alert reviews, trade hazard reviews, and general public safety checks
• Maintain a hazardous communication folder with all relevant chemical forms
• Report reckless or dangerous activities to the job superintendent; notify the Safety Office of any accidents and submit accident reports per company policy
• Abide by all internal control and compliance practices to safeguard assets, segregate duties, comply with ethics and laws, maintain confidentiality, and reconcile physical assets with accounting records

• Knowledge of blueprints
• Ability to lead and manage crews
• First‑aid certification or ability to obtain it
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong work ethic
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Minimum three years of construction site experience
• Experience working near direct automotive traffic
• Experience working near natural bodies of water
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks five days per week (overtime/weekend work may be required)
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures that may exceed 100°F
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs (e.g., mulch, fertilizer)
• Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day
