Our Jacksonville ribbon is seeking a Residential Service Technician to join our team. The Residential Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting door service calls and performing repairs as described below.

Our Jacksonville ribbon is seeking a Residential Service Technician to join our team. The Residential Service Technician will work 8 hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm with the possibility of on-call and overtime.
This role is a permanent, full-time position.
- Diagnose issues and carry out solutions on residential garage doors and correlating equipment
- Provide accurate and timely estimates on hours and costs of repairs and replacements
- Coordinate with the parts and sales to ensure customers’ needs are met
- Complete work orders on computer-based documentation
- Drive safely and efficiently from customer to customer
- Other duties, as assigned
- 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Strong safety mindset (certifications such as OSSA Fall Protection, OSSA Elevated Work Platform, Standard First Aid, CSTS, BSO are assets)
- Outstanding customer service, communication, and professionalism
- Mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable working from a ladder
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work outside in all different weather conditions, including cold and extreme heat
- Lifting, pulling, climbing, standing, sitting, lying down, squatting and kneeling, and managing equipment and tools required
- Able to work independently or with crews
- Must be able to pass drug testing
