Heaths Diesel Service Inc is looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our hardworking team in Jacksonville, FL! • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems
• Document all service work, parts used, and labor accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors or management

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty technician
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, drive trains, and electrical components
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and mechanical tools
  
  Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
• ASE certification or equivalent preferred
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-first attitude
