Essential Functions- Perform Preventive Maintenance:
Complete PM services on diesel trucks following industry standards, customer requirements, and safety guidelines. - Diagnose & Repair Trucks:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, suspension, drivability, and emissions systems. - Document Work Accurately:
Record labor, parts used, and repair recommendations using company systems. - Communicate:
Keep the service and parts teams informed on job status, parts needs, customer concerns, and next steps. - Coordinate Parts & Repairs:
Work with the parts department to source components, manage returns, and complete repairs efficiently. - Maintain Your Service Vehicle:
Keep the mobile service truck organized, stocked, clean, and ready for daily operations. - Positive Customer
Experience:
Represent professionally at every customer site through reliability, respect, and follow-through.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a diesel truck technician.
- License and/or Certification preferred or the willingness to acquire
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred
- Must provide own set of tools.
- Detroit, Cummins, Volvo, CAT, International, PACCAR engine certifications are a plus.
