Xylem is looking for a Senior Water Treatment Technician to report to our Jacksonville, FL location and service our water treatment equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area.
The Expert Water Treatment Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our water treatment and water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle. Equipment-specific training will be provided. Previous experience with industrial or commercial process water treatment, along with strong technical, mechanical, plumbing, and controls experience, is especially encouraged. This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.
This is a highly customer-facing role requiring approximately 50% or more daily travel to customer sites.

- HS diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of technical experience, including industrial or commercial process water experience
- Experience troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining water treatment equipment and systems
- Basic controls ability, including PLC experience
- Strong technical/mechanical/plumbing aptitude
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
- Ability to work effectively in a high customer-facing position
- Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Ability to work independently while managing customer service and field service responsibilities
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Job postings will include a wide salary range, with each role's pay falling within that range. Estimated starting range for this position is $28-$32/hr actual starting salary is based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
