Davis Industrial is seeking a Solutions Specialist to support industrial and manufacturing customers with conveyor belting and material handling solutions. Based out of Tampa, you'll work hands-on in the field and in customer facilities, assessing systems, diagnosing issues, and recommending the right conveyor products, components, and services. You'll assist with installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance while preparing quotes and solution proposals alongside sales and engineering.
This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who thrives in a safety-first, team-focused, customer-facing environment and wants to grow industrial skills and responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical resource for conveyor and industrial solutions for manufacturing clients
- Evaluate customer operations, identify issues, and recommend appropriate conveyor products, components, and services
- Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and field maintenance of conveyor systems
- Prepare quotes, basic layouts, and solution proposals in collaboration with sales and engineering teams
- Provide on-site training and guidance to customer operators and maintenance staff
- Document service activities, parts used, and recommended follow-up actions in a timely manner
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope
- Promote Davis Industrial's safety-first culture and ensure compliance with safety standards at customer sites
- Maintain strong customer relationships through reliable communication and responsive problem solving
- Continuously build product, mechanical, and industrial systems knowledge through training and field experience
Required Skills
