Installation Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter / Mechanical Installer to join our team on water and wastewater treatment plant projects in the Jacksonville, Florida area. The ideal candidate will have experience installing process piping systems, setting and aligning mechanical equipment, and performing millwright-type work associated with pumps, blowers, screens, conveyors, mixers, and other treatment plant equipment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork in a fast-paced construction environment.

Minimum Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipefitter, Mechanical Installer, Millwright, or related trade.
- Experience working on water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Demonstrated experience installing carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron, PVC, and HDPE piping systems.
- Experience with flanged, mechanical joint (MJ), grooved, restrained, and welded piping systems.
- Experience setting, aligning, and installing pumps, blowers, mixers, valves, and other process equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, piping isometrics, P&IDs, and equipment layout drawings.
- Knowledge of rigging practices, equipment handling, and mechanical installation procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding construction activities.
