Required Skills & Experience - Background in low-voltage industry and mechanically inclined.

1–2 years of experience in fire suppression or fire protection

Active Florida fire suppression permit (preferred but open to candidates willing and able to obtain certification)

Nice to Have

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with chemical suppression systems, including:
• Wet chemical systems
• Dry chemical systems
• CO₂ systems
• Smoke dampers

Job Description:

We are seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to join our Jacksonville, FL team. This role is open to both experienced fire protection professionals and motivated trade workers looking to enter the fire suppression industry. New (non-certified/licensed) technicians will complete a 3-month ride-along/training period before attending formal schooling.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, and maintain:
• Fire extinguishers
• Fire suppression systems
• Perform repairs on suppression systems, whether discharged or not
• Complete service documentation and inspection reports
• Follow NFPA standards and Florida fire code requirements
• Work efficiently onsite while maintaining strong safety practices
