Olgoonik Corporation seeks a skilled Woodworker to support construction projects for government and commercial clients. This role fabricates, installs, and finishes wood components including framing, doors, windows, casework, and trim. Responsibilities include reading drawings, measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood products to precise specifications while meeting building codes and safety standards. Working primarily on-site, you will coordinate with project teams, maintain tools and work areas, and uphold strict safety practices.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to build wood structures and components
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble lumber and wood products using hand and power tools
- Install framing, doors, windows, cabinetry, and finish trim to project standards
- Select appropriate materials and hardware to meet structural and design requirements
- Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety and building codes
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, clean, and serviceable condition
- Collaborate with supervisors, trades, and project teams to meet schedules and site requirements
- Follow Olgoonik and OSHA safety procedures, including PPE use and job hazard analyses
Required Skills
- Woodworking and carpentry techniques (rough and finish)
- Blueprint and construction drawing reading
- Use and maintenance of hand and power woodworking tools
- Measurement, layout, and math for construction
- Framing, door, window, and cabinetry installation
- Finish carpentry and trim installation
- Knowledge of building codes and construction standards
- Jobsite and tool safety (OSHA practices)
- Material selection and lumber grading basics
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting in field conditions
