Commercial Pipefitter

Pipe fitters - Jacksonville, Florida and the surrounding areasRQ is currently seeking experienced Pipe fitters to join our Mechanical team supporting projects in Jacksonville, Florida;
Kings Bay Naval Base, Georgia; and nearby areas. All work is performed on military installations and is compensated according to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements applicable to each site.

Pipe fitters in this role will be responsible for laying out, assembling, and installing piping systems on active construction sites. This includes ensuring all work complies with applicable codes, specifications, and quality standards. The position requires strong technical knowledge of pipe fitting practices, along with the proper use of tools and equipment. All work must be performed in accordance with established safety procedures and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

We focus on fast-paced, ground-up commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary emphasis on Department of Defense (DoD) projects.

Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay: $20.94-$46.25 (based on experience) Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off: 1 week of vacation plus accrued sick leave

Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED required At least 4 years of experience working as a pipefitter in commercial construction or facility operations

Journeyman-level work experience required

Preferred Qualifications Experience on government, military, or large-scale commercial projects is preferred

Experience with mechanical pipe installation Background in underground piping work and chiller lines

Valid pipefitter license or journeyman certification Current welding certification CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 certifications
