Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will work in a distribution center conducting preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of 90-100 conveyor systems. Responsibilities include maintaining pneumatics, roller conveyors, conveyor belts, o-rings, and other mechanical components. All maintenance activities will be planned and recorded in the CMM system. When not engaged in conveyor system maintenance, the technician will perform general facilities maintenance tasks such as light plumbing, changing light bulbs, painting, building and moving furniture, and other non-electrical or HVAC-related activities.

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyor systems including pneumatics, belts, rollers, o-rings, and V-belts.
• Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as light plumbing, light bulb changeouts, furniture assembly, hardware installation, door replacement, and lock installation.
• Document all work in the CMM maintenance system.
• Work within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Assist in minor maintenance on warehouse equipment such as forklifts and counterbalance, including battery replacement and charging.

• Experience in facilities maintenance and conveyor maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems.
• Proficiency in using a CMM maintenance system.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical work, drywall, and painting.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

• Electrical experience is highly beneficial, particularly in troubleshooting PLC-driven conveyors.
• Ability to re-write motors without live electricity flowing through wires.
• Experience with drywall or carpentry is advantageous.
• Forklift operating skills are a plus.

Work on the 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am in a climate-controlled facility. The facility includes two large buildings and a multicultural team of 625 people.

This is a Permanent position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. 70% paid company benefits.

This is a fully onsite position in Jacksonville, FL.
