We are hiring a
Maintenance Technician
to work onsite at our apartment community Citigate Apartments in Jacksonville, FL
.
AIR Communities utilizes industry-leading maintenance technology that helps technicians prioritize work orders, communicate efficiently, reduce administrative tasks, and resolve resident concerns quickly. Whether you're preparing apartments for new move-ins or troubleshooting maintenance requests, you'll have the tools and support needed to perform at a high level every day.

- Budgeted hourly rate is between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.

- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and support fellow team members
- Complete apartment turns and prepare homes for move-in readiness
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components involving plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC equipment, and general building systems
- Complete service requests accurately, safely, and efficiently
- Assist with move-in and move-out inspections as needed
- Support vendor management and quality control efforts
- Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced technicians when applicable
- Maintain a safe work environment and respond to emergency maintenance requests, including scheduled on-call rotations
- You take pride in solving problems correctly the first time
- You deliver professional customer service and communicate effectively with residents
- You enjoy hands-on work and continuous learning
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- You are dependable, accountable, and contribute positively to team success
- At least 2years of maintenance experience
, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment - Proficient skills in at least two technical trades
(plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) - Ability to work a flexible schedule
including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month). - A reliable mode of transportation
to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours. - Comfort with physical activity
