We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to work onsite at our apartment community Citigate Apartments in Jacksonville, FL.

AIR Communities utilizes industry-leading maintenance technology that helps technicians prioritize work orders, communicate efficiently, reduce administrative tasks, and resolve resident concerns quickly. Whether you're preparing apartments for new move-ins or troubleshooting maintenance requests, you'll have the tools and support needed to perform at a high level every day.

AIR offers attractive compensation packages that reward hard work and excellent customer service including:

  • Budgeted hourly rate is between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.

Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and support fellow team members

Complete apartment turns and prepare homes for move-in readiness

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components involving plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC equipment, and general building systems

Complete service requests accurately, safely, and efficiently

Assist with move-in and move-out inspections as needed

Support vendor management and quality control efforts

Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced technicians when applicable

Maintain a safe work environment and respond to emergency maintenance requests, including scheduled on-call rotations

You take pride in solving problems correctly the first time

You deliver professional customer service and communicate effectively with residents

You enjoy hands-on work and continuous learning

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

You are dependable, accountable, and contribute positively to team success

At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment

Proficient skills in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).

A reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours.

Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery.

Ability to read, write, and speak English.
