  • Set up and configure low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video systems, and network cabling
  • Run, terminate, and label cables according to project requirements and industry standards
  • Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot low voltage system issues
  • Repair faults and damages and restore systems to optimal working condition
  • Provide technical support and train end users on system operation and maintenance
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns
  • Ensure installations and repairs comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain accurate installation, maintenance, and repair records
  • Generate reports on system performance, resolved issues, and maintenance activities
  • Evaluate systems for upgrades and perform system upgrades
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, project managers, clients, and key stakeholders
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Travel domestically to multiple facilities or worksites, including consecutive overnight stays
  • Support business solutions, company policies, mission, values, ethics, and integrity
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hold and maintain jurisdiction-required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report
  • Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions within the last five years
  • Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations within the last three years
  • Commercial driving record with no preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle within the last three years
  • Commercial driving record with no serious traffic violations, as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, within the last three years
  • Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and obtain medical certification valid for at least one year
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Option 1: 1 year's experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related technical trade;
    Option 2: 2 years' Walmart store experience
  • Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Experience in local electrical codes and standards
  • CompTIA networking certifications (preferred)
  • Intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (preferred)
  • Manufacturer-specific certifications such as Honeywell, Axis, or Bosch systems (preferred)
  • NICET Level 1 or 2 Fire Alarm Certification (preferred)
  • OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour safety certification (preferred)
  • Technical training or certification in low voltage systems (preferred)
