This full‑time, on‑site Building Engineer role is based in the Tyler-Jacksonville Area and supports daily operations across office, retail, and industrial properties. The Building Engineer monitors and maintains building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical components, to ensure safe and efficient functioning. Responsibilities include performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs, responding to service requests, and addressing building issues in a timely manner.

The role also involves coordinating with property management and vendors, keeping accurate maintenance records, and supporting regulatory and safety compliance. The Building Engineer will interact with tenants and stakeholders in a professional manner, helping maintain a well‑kept, reliable facility environment.

• Candidates should possess skills in Building Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for commercial properties.
• Candidates should possess skills in Plumbing and related mechanical systems troubleshooting.
• Candidates should possess skills in Facility Management (FM), including coordination of vendors and adherence to safety standards.
• Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and reliably.
• Experience in commercial real estate or multi‑tenant facility environments is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, building plans, and equipment specifications is beneficial.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are beneficial.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certifications in building systems or trades (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are beneficial.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various indoor and outdoor conditions, is required.
