The Centers for Humanities in Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida and Rochester, Minnesota, provides undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate students opportunities to integrate the arts and other expressions of human culture into the healing environment of the hospital and outpatient clinics. This internship aims to provide you with hands‑on, practical experience to enhance your knowledge of the integration of arts and humanities into a healthcare setting.

As an intern in this program, you will be exposed to and participate in:

• Completing administrative duties and workflows for existing programming
• Helping develop new humanities‑based programs within patient care, education, and research
• Assisting the Humanities in Medicine staff in programs that promote the development of well‑rounded healthcare professionals who are trained in the art of medicine as an essential professional asset
