Position OverviewAtrium Innovation & Research (AIR) is an early-stage technology incubator building and launching next-generation software products in the HR/Workforce Management space. Our mission is to validate ideas rapidly, build MVPs efficiently, and scale the concepts that show real traction. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who loves the zero-to-one environment, can work across the stack, and is excited about building multiple products from the ground up.
As a Full Stack Developer, you'll be one of the earliest technical contributors inside the incubator. You will work across frontend, backend, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data layers to turn ideas into working software, quickly, intelligently, and with craftsmanship. Candidates must be able to commute to our Jacksonville, FL or New York, NY office three days per week as part of a hybrid schedule.
- Collaborate with Designers, Product Leads, and Domain Experts to:
- Build working MVPs.
- Iterate rapidly based on early adopter feedback.
- Validate hypotheses and assumptions.
- Ship production-quality code.
- Influence tech architecture decisions.
- Contribute to multiple incubated ventures.
- On any given day, as a Full Stack Developer, you will:
- Architect, build, and ship full-stack features from concept to deployment.
- Develop responsive, modern frontend interfaces (React, Vue, or similar).
- Build backend services, APIs, and microservices (Node.js, Python, Go, etc.).
- Manage cloud deployment, CI/CD, and Dev Ops workflows (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Rapidly prototype MVPs and iterate based on user feedback.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and internal frameworks.
- Help build shared libraries, tools, and boiler plates for future incubator ventures.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across all projects.
- Participate in technical planning, grooming, and sprint reviews.
- Mentor junior developers as the team grows.
- Collaborate across teams in an environment where speed, quality, and flexibility all matter.
- 3 - 6+ years of full-stack development experience
- Ability to commute to the Jacksonville, FL or New York, NY office a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Strong skills in at least one modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte).
- Strong backend experience with Node.js, Python (FastAPI/Django), Go, Ruby, or similar.
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs or Graph
QL. - Experience with relational and/or No
SQL databases (Postgres, Mongo
DB, Dynamo
DB). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and code quality practices.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work on-site 3 days a week with our team in Jacksonville, Florida.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business is preferred.
