Application Engineer

Overview

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Application Engineer in Jacksonville, FL. This role is hybrid/remote and reports to the Director of Software Engineering. A fully remote option may be available for the right candidate.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders through creative, innovative solutions
• Participate in projects as a subject matter expert on business processes, system configuration, and support strategy
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Mortgage Technology systems and third-party vendor integrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-application teams to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and implement changes
• Coordinate the timely reporting of bugs, outages, support issues, and enhancement requests to software vendors, and communicate progress to end users
• Perform migrations across environments and support frequent deployments to production

• A Bachelor7s degree with an emphasis in Computer Science disciplines or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of technical experience with Encompass LOS as an administrator
• Knowledge of mortgage loan origination lifecycle is required, including, but not limited to loan origination, processing, underwriting, closing, post-closing, secondary marketing, investor delivery, and servicing
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with all levels of the organization
• Prior Encompass TPO Portal Experience preferred
• Encompass Next Generation platform experience preferred
• Encompass Admin Certification (Issued by ICE) preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
