Responsibilities- Manage application development deliverables for the entire life cycle of the development project – both Waterfall and Agile models as applicable.
- Gather technical requirements, code specifications, test plans, and results – and other deliverables required for multiple projects.
- Perform analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of applications under minimal supervision.
- Provide expertise in technical analysis and resolve complex issues through in‑depth evaluation of business and system processes.
- Ensure alignment to architectural assertions and constantly look for opportunities to modernise application.
- Work effectively with remote teams, focusing on fostering positive working relationships.
- Integrate with a team of highly seasoned application developers.
- Technical, development, design and test in support of the Cards SDLC. Program development in the Mail Management System and Statement System Integration and development environment.
- Strong analytical skills. Windows System, .NET Developer, , C#, JavaScript, AI/ML development skills – Agentic AI tools (Claude, Devin), Unix scripting, Autosys, Git Hub and SQL Server.
- Plus:
Python and/or Precisely client/server‑based printing solution knowledge/experience. - Ability to lead a dynamic application team in Waterfall and Agile SDLC environments.
- Self‑actualization, organisation and time‑management proficiency.
- Conflict resolution and adaptive leadership to accommodate a fast‑paced, often challenging operating environment; strong technical verbal and written communication aptitude.
- Strong experience in Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, , SQL required. Hands‑on experience required on Git Hub and Bitbucket.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of application development or project or systems management in a technology environment with proven progress in scope and/or responsibility.
- 5+ years’ experience in the credit card or financial services industry a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS desktop tools is preferred; demonstrated experience in a collaborative technology and financial services business environment a plus.
- Ability to deal with ambiguous situations creatively, while meeting or exceeding customer and partner expectations in a high‑tempo, high‑achieving team.
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
