Senior Software Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise applications using C#, .NET, Microsoft Azure, and modern front-end technologies. This individual will play a key role in application architecture, cloud development, system integration, and the ongoing improvement of application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

Requirements

3+ years of software development experience, with strong expertise in C# and .NET

Experience with .NET Core, modern .NET versions, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework Core

Strong experience designing and developing scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services

Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including several of the following:

+ Azure Functions

+ Azure App Service

+ Azure SQL Database

+ Azure Storage

+ Azure Service Bus

+ Azure Key Vault

+ Azure API Management

+ Azure Application Insights

+ Azure Dev Ops

+ Entra /Azure Active Directory

Experience building and supporting serverless, cloud-native, or event-driven applications

Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with internal and third-party systems

Strong SQL skills, including database design, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance troubleshooting

Experience with Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated deployments, and multiple application environments

Experience using Claude or similar generative AI tools within the software development workflow

Ability to use AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and test creation while independently reviewing and validating generated output

Understanding of secure coding practices, cloud security, authentication, authorization, and application monitoring

Experience troubleshooting complex application, integration, database, and production performance issues

Ability to evaluate existing applications, identify technical debt, and recommend practical modernization strategies

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and software architecture

Experience with unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and software quality standards

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and mentor less-experienced developers
