- Create and develop operating-system components, software tools, and utilities ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Design and maintain database architecture and capture user requirements specifications.
- Determine systems‑software design requirements and implement design standards and procedures.
- Monitor and enforce system improvements that increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to establish policies, standards, and procedures.
- Engage in various software lifecycle activities as needed.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to other software engineers to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
- Identify and solve complex technical issues, proposing innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct code reviews and give constructive feedback to junior engineers.
- Work with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and advocate for best‑practice adoption.
- Contribute to long‑term strategic planning for software development to realize the organization’s technical vision.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of software engineering experience, OR advanced degree and 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with equipment connectivity.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ignition and devise WISE experience.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform.
- Experience with React, Angular, Node.js, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS3, WebAPI.
- Background in microservices architecture, test‑driven development, agile and scrum, CI/CD pipelines, RESTful API design.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, coding languages, and development tools.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers.
- Ability to identify and solve complex problems, think critically, and make informed decisions.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with programming languages, frameworks, and technologies such as Java, C++, .NET, Scala, Lua, Python, SQL, and cloud platforms.
