Transmit Security Engineer

Location:

New York (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Salary Range:$50 - $55 an hour on W2 or C2C

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Transmit Security Developer with strong expertise in Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM), authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SSO). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and implementing Transmit Security authentication journeys, integrating applications using REST APIs, and working with modern authentication protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement CIAM solutions using Transmit Security.
Develop and maintain Transmit Security Authentication Journeys and Identity Management (IDM) capabilities.
Implement customer authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SSO) workflows.
Develop solutions using Transmit Security WebSDK and Auth Script .
Integrate enterprise applications using REST APIs and web services.
Develop and deploy custom applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot technologies.
Develop REST APIs using the Java Spring Framework.
Troubleshoot IAM/CIAM issues and recommend security and performance improvements.
Work with application, infrastructure, Dev Ops, and security teams to deliver secure and scalable identity solutions.
Support HTTP request/response tracing, session handling, and secure client-to-server/server-to-server communication.

Must-Have Skills

5+ years of relevant experience in IAM / Access Management / CIAM.
Hands-on experience with the Transmit Security CIAM platform.
Strong experience developing Transmit Security Journeys.
Experience with WebSDK and AuthScript scripting.
Hands-on experience implementing user authentication and authorization using Transmit Security.
Deep understanding of Authentication, Authorization, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
Strong knowledge of authentication protocols:
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- SAML 2.0
Strong experience with Java/J2EE development.
Experience developing REST APIs using Java Spring / Spring Boot.
Good understanding of HTTP request/response tracing and session management.
Understanding of secure HTTP communication, including client-to-server and server-to-server security.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with No

SQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
Knowledge of Dev Ops and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, and Ansible.
Experience with development tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA.
Experience developing and deploying scalable backend applications.
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
