Position Description

Immediately hiring a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Driver in Jacksonville, FL. Join Ryder and drive a 26' day cab with a dry van (48' – 53’) on local home‑daily routes. Earn $1066 or more weekly.

Key compensation and schedule details:

• Hourly Pay: $26.67
• Hours per Week: 40+ (Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays)
• Start Time: 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Weekly Pay
• Safety Bonus:
  Up to $500 per quarter (if applicable)

Trucks are 36 months or newer and come with 24/7 roadside maintenance. Company drivers fuel trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT medical physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide a valid Class A CDL and required endorsements.
• Class A tractor‑trailer experience: 9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply relevant laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
