We are looking for a roll-off driver who is reliable, good with customers, and excited to help grow our business!

redbox+ of Jacksonville is not your typical waste service. We hold a patented design of a combination portable toilet and dumpster, making our containers the most efficient and innovative in the market. We are small, family-owned, and exist to offer exceptional service to our customers. We are looking for someone who is friendly and responsible to join our team.

The roll-off driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to redbox+ customers. This person will happily maintain close relationships with customers, respect their property, safely drive and operate a Kenworth Model T370 truck and/or Ford F550 truck, manage time appropriately, love logistics, and not mind getting dirty.

• Safe delivery of roll-off dumpster/portable toilet combination containers to commercial and residential job sites in all weather conditions;
• Transport and empty full dumpsters to approved waste facilities;
• Clean and service portable toilets attached to containers at the end of the rental period or as needed utilizing vacuum pump system attached to truck;
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for the secure and safe operation of the company vehicle;
• Perform all duties as prescribed by the DOT and the company including, but not limited to, daily pre-and post-trip inspections and logging and submitting driver hours;
• Be respectful of customer property by sweeping driveways, removing loose trash, and taking all precautions to avoid causing damage;
• Courteously interact with the general public along route to answer questions and/or respond to requests with company provided marketing materials;
• Notify General Manager of any issues requiring management action;
• Maintain a clean truck inside and out including running truck through washing facility as needed.

• Safe operation of vehicle and equipment in all weather conditions and varying weights;
• Navigate high traffic roads, driveways, and tight overhead environments;
• Excellent time management skills and punctuality;
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills when interacting with customers and/or homeowners;
• Understand basic calendar and map applications.

• Must be 21 years of age;
• Must provide current driver’s license and driving record;
• Must hold a Class A or B CDL;
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment;
• Pass a background check;
• Pass drug tests before and during employment;
• Familiarity of Jacksonville-Metro area;
• Legally able to work in the US;
• No moving violations or accidents on record;
• No suspensions or revocations due to a moving violation or accident;
• No DUI.
• Physical requirements include loading and unloading rubbish, standing, sitting/driving, walking, lifting and carrying (up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, pushing/pulling (up to 50 lbs.), bending, stooping, reaching, turning, and repetitive motion. The driver will work closely with the owners on a daily basis.
