, you’ll get to move loaded and unloaded trailers around our Reverse Logistics Centers as needed. You’ll be responsible for making decisions regarding the movement of trailers to maximize the efficiency of our operation and minimize safety incidents. This person will be vital to the success of our team!

$18.00/hr.

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-2:30am

• Operate an automatic Ottawa Yard Truck with the ability to maneuver 53’ long trailers into tight spaces without causing damage.
• Perform daily equipment checks such as checking fluid levels, cleaning air filters, examining equipment for damage or leaks, and ensuring loads are secure.
• Inspect loads to ensure they are secure.
• Operate a forklift to move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility, when applicable.
• Stack pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control instructions, when applicable.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards, when applicable.
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment that meets Relogistics standards.

• Prior experience driving a yard truck or semi is a plus, not required.
• Good math, language, and reading skills with attention to detail along with basic computer skills.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment.
• Understanding that overtime may be required.

• Ability to work in extreme conditions, including elements, heat, cold, and air particulate.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes).
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• Must have a good sense of balance and good eye-hand-foot coordination.
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
