Position Summary
The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, Federal and State regulations, and deliver all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world-class customer service experience.
Duties & Responsibilities- Inspect the truck/trailer for defects to ensure safe operation, safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck, and unload products at commercial and residential job sites. Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.
- Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment. Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs for load/unload. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) – Minimum Class B License;
Class A strongly preferred. - Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

- Remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
- Lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs for loading/unloading.
- Move materials weighing up to 80 lbs while unloading flatbed and operate commercial or boom vehicle.
- Judge distance while delivering materials and/or operating boom.
- Communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information.
- Work constantly in an outdoor environment while making deliveries.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
- Manage stress depending on customer deadlines.
- Multi‑task efficiently.
- Receive information and directions.
- Communicate solutions quickly if problems occur.
- Demonstrate sound judgment.
