Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc. is a multi‑location, full‑service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Jacksonville, FL branch. We are looking for a Rental Operations Assistant with experience in the heavy‑duty truck and trailer industry. In this position you will be responsible for assisting the Rental department with all activities related to rental operations and administration.

• Perform inbound and outbound trailer inspections.
• Take and maintain trailer photos and assist with marketing submissions.
• Assist jockey as needed and support them on certain jobs.
• Receive tire deliveries and roll them into the shop as needed.
• Conduct a monthly trailer and tire inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service with existing and new customers.
• Assist Rental with various other tasks such as:
  • Fueling up all yard equipment
  • Keeping yard clean and safe
  • Running errands as needed

• Experience in the heavy‑duty truck/trailer/transportation industry is preferred.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all seasons.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to handle multitasking regularly.
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Must have good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Must present a professional, highly motivated, positive, problem‑solving attitude.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a standard pre‑employment drug test.
