Job Overview

The Auto Club Group (ACG) seeks a Fleet Supervisor to oversee towing and light service operations. The role involves leading, guiding, and empowering a team to achieve quality and budgeted goals while ensuring safety for all

• Oversee towing and light service operations, ensuring all team members achieve quality and budgeted objectives
• Operate service vehicles and provide emergency roadside assistance in a safe and professional manner
• Tows vehicles when required
• Provide training, support, and assistance to Service Vehicle Operators and Automotive Service Coordinators
• Resolve escalated service problems
• Maintain productivity standards for the team
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, order supplies, manage inventory, and distribute necessary tools, parts and supplies
• Maintain the facility in a safe, clean, and orderly fashion
• Perform administrative duties such as complaint resolution, deposit compilation and reconciliation, and researching, compiling and communicating various reports and information
• Conduct cost and expense reporting
• Provide assistance to disabled vehicles / stranded motorists, including towing and minor automobile maintenance
• Participate in on‑call duties as part of a 7‑day, multiple shift operation

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Successfully led teams to achieve goals
• Related or similar roadside service work experience
• Comfortable interacting with vendors and contractors
• Experience preparing cost and expense reports
• Experience assisting stranded motorists and towing vehicles
• Familiar with area streets and landmarks
• Must have a valid state driver’s license, an excellent driving record, and no physical restrictions preventing day, night, or extended driving
• Must successfully pass a DOT physical and certification process

• College level coursework in Business Administration or a related field
• Previous Service Technician experience
• Solid mechanical background and understanding of automotive repair
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and other e‑mail applications
• Familiarity with work processes and e‑mail applications

• Competitive starting salary: $25.50 per hour

  Hourly
• Work Environment: 7‑day, multiple shift operation; may require on‑call duty; exposure to road hazards and temperature extremes while driving; occasional lifting, pulling, and pushing (up to 30%)
