We are seeking a detail-oriented Outbound Logistics Specialist to support outbound transportation operations. In this role, you will manage carrier relationships, coordinate shipment assignments, track performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage carrier relationships to ensure equipment availability and timely shipment assignments.
• Coordinate and assign loads based on transit requirements, service performance, and special handling needs.
• Monitor transportation performance and prepare reports and operational metrics for leadership.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to identify, resolve, and prevent recurring operational issues.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
• Communicate proactively with carriers to address delays, service disruptions, and other transportation challenges.
• Partner with operations, transportation, carrier management, and settlement teams to support business objectives and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with transportation and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning and outbound logistics processes.
• Experience working directly with carriers, including dispatching, tendering, load planning, and equipment coordination.
• Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
