Summary:
The overhead crane operator is responsible for pulling slab orders accurately and safely using overhead cranes.

Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM

Compensation:
This hourly, non‑exempt position pays from $19.75 to $22.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $42,100 and $56,900 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
- Pull slabs from the warehouse based on slab orders provided.
- Move slabs to loading areas using overhead cranes.
- Load slabs onto customer vehicles/trucks.
- Ensure products are securely fastened on vehicles/trucks and all safety measures are taken.
- Unload slabs from containers using forklifts.
- Arrange slabs in the slab warehouse using forklift or crane.
- Maintain the slab warehouse clean and safe for staff and customers.
- Perform additional duties as required or requested.
- High School Education or equivalent required.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Forklift, overhead crane, and warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to use smart phones/tablets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Regularly use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and communicate verbally. Frequently walk, stand, and occasionally sit.
- Regularly lift, pull, and move up to 50 lb and occasionally up to 70 lb. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
