Essential Function

This job consists of one or more duties involving the efficient picking and packing, handling and the timely movement of stock in and out of pack/pick locations. The primary goal is to move product safely with minimal damage while maximizing productivity. Detailed standard operating procedures exist for tasks performed by this job in the following areas: order pulling, packing orders, stocking, special operations deal breaks and RGA processing.

• Complete radio frequency or paper-based picking, using various equipment to obtain and transfer product from different locations throughout the distribution center.
• Package and ship products to stores or salons and may be required to work within the hospital QA lane, packing lane, store sorting, UPS line, wrap stage and loading.
• Execute special operations such as the deal break process or breaking down product deal packages into their components.
• Process the RGA process in special operations, inspecting returned product for piece count and damage and comparing it to the accompanying paperwork.
• Stock products/items using different types of equipment, picking and placing product from various locations throughout the distribution center.
• Ensure all work areas are performed accurately to maintain optimal customer service.
• Maintain a safe work environment, perform job functions safely, and report potential hazards to management while maintaining good housekeeping practices.
• Maintain productivity related to standards based on assigned tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a distribution/warehouse environment or equivalent work experience.
• Must know and be able to perform Picker/Packer 1 job.
• Basic computer skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with capability to adjust to change and interruptions.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.

• Maintain neat and accurate records.
• Skilled in basic arithmetic and ability to read and interpret orders, product descriptions, and numbers in the English language.
