Warehouse Supervisor - 3rd. Shift

Job Overview

Lead and manage all warehouse activities on a daily, shift or team basis in accordance with company service and cost objectives. Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, inventory management, product repackaging, palletizing, and forklift operation while maintaining proactive customer service and accurate billing.

• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following OSHA standards and daily inspection requirements.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage products using forklifts, reach trucks, or motorized pallet riders.
• Unpack inbound shipments and move products to appropriate storage locations, ensuring accurate and damage-free handling.
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise in designated areas, maintaining inventory control.
• Prepare products for shipment, including picking, packing, light assembly, labeling, sorting, wrapping, and repacking as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for inventory control and security.
• Supervise unloading of inbound shipments, staging of outbound shipments, and ensure product count accuracy.
• Verify inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers and complete required reports on time.
• Analyze daily and weekly production metrics and assist with physical inventories.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure optimal use of space with FIFO rotation.
• Address customer special requests and investigate discrepancies, coordinating with other departments.
• Ensure a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and three years of related experience.
• Proficiency with warehouse management, timekeeping, HRIS, SAP, and RF scanning systems.
• Certification to operate powered material handling equipment.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning skills, including ability to handle large volumes of paperwork accurately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information and respond to customer inquiries.
• Effective organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

The role involves frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and operating equipment in a warehouse environment with typical noise levels. Physical and environmental demands include frequent use of hands, reaching, stooping, and climbing ladders.
