Operate forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, into railroad cars, trucks, or storage facilities.

• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraft
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
• Checking loads are secure
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Keeping facility clean and organized
• Adhering to all CEMEX and O.S.H.A. rules and regulations and wearing proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
• Meeting or exceeding company safety standards
• Performing other job responsibilities as assigned by management

• High school preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Bilingual a plus

• Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
• Must wear protective equipment while at the location.

• Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
• Heavy work‑exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Requires regular talking and hearing to communicate with employees/visitors and to function safely around heavy rolling equipment.
• Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls.
