Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse operations for a growing distribution and logistics organization in Jacksonville, Florida. This individual will be responsible for overseeing inventory control, shipping and receiving, workforce leadership, safety compliance, and overall operational performance. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about driving efficiency, accuracy, and team development.

• Manage all day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and distribution.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and hourly associates to achieve performance and productivity goals.
• Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and labor utilization to meet operational demands.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, safety, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and warehouse safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, and operational bottlenecks.
• Partner with transportation, supply chain, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain warehouse budgets, equipment usage, and facility organization.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training programs.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and warehouse management system (WMS) utilization.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics management experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing supervisors and hourly warehouse teams.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or third‑party logistics (3PL).
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
• Multi‑shift leadership experience.
• Budget management and workforce planning experience.
