Warehouse Forklift Operator 2 – Jacksonville, FL

Position :  | Full-time.

Compensation: $23.00 per hour.

Schedule:

2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

• Show initiative in supporting safety plant-wide; participate on committees as required.
• Identify and report mechanical or operational difficulties with truck, car or other equipment.
• Use safe work practices and always report hazardous conditions.
• Ensure accurate order picking, shipping and receiving deadlines, and high-quality loading workmanship.
• Maximize FIFO, reduce scrap cost, maximize storage space for finished goods and staging area.
• Achieve company objectives and internal/external customer expectations.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and compliance with internal/external policies and procedures.
• Assist in cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and metrics are met.
• Complete special projects directed by distribution center manager and senior management.
• Assist with all receiving and shipping functions.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year forklift experience; certification preferred.
• Experience with warehouse scheduling systems.
• Basic computer skills.
