Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Hourly, Part-Time to Full-Time
Schedule: Approximately 25-40 hours per week; on-site 4-5 days per week
Position SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facilities Support
- Warehouse Specialist to support warehouse operations at a U.S. Navy installation in Jacksonville, Florida. This position is responsible for scanning package barcodes, entering and validating information within inventory software, encoding and printing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags, and accurately affixing RFID tags to packages.
The ideal candidate is comfortable using computers and scanning equipment, can perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy, and is able to work safely in a physically demanding, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Responsibilities- Scan barcodes on packages using handheld or fixed scanning equipment.
- Enter, review, and validate package information within designated software systems.
- Use RFID software and printing equipment to encode and print RFID tags.
- Verify that RFID tags contain the correct information before application.
- Accurately affix RFID tags and labels to designated packages.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical records of completed work.
- Identify and report damaged packages, unreadable barcodes, tagging errors, equipment problems, and data discrepancies.
- Organize and move packages within assigned warehouse work areas.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, installation requirements, and applicable government policies.
- Protect sensitive operational and inventory information.
- Coordinate with supervisors, warehouse personnel, and other team members to meet daily production requirements.
- Perform other related warehouse and facilities-support duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must reside in or be able to reliably commute to Jacksonville, Florida.
- Ability to work on-site at a U.S. Navy installation 4-5 days per week.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the credentials and authorization required to access a military installation.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn inventory, barcode-scanning, and RFID software.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a warehouse environment.
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
- Ability to comply with applicable background screening, security, safety, and installation-access requirements.
- Current security clearance or active authorization/credentials permitting access to a U.S. military installation.
- Previous experience working on a military or government installation.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, shipping, receiving, or facilities-support experience.
- Experience using barcode scanners, label printers, RFID equipment, or inventory-management software.
- Familiarity with package labeling, inventory tracking, or asset-management processes.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, crouch, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive barcode-scanning, data-entry, tagging, and labeling activities.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse in Jacksonville, Florida, including conditions involving heat, humidity, and temperature fluctuations.
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment and comply with all workplace safety procedures.

This is an hourly position expected to work approximately 25-40 hours per week. Work will generally be performed on-site 4-5 days per week. Specific hours may vary based on workload, installation access, and operational requirements.
