Material Handler / Picker (Weekend Shift)
Upscale beauty products company in Jacksonville is hiring Material Handlers / Pickers for weekend distribution center operations. This role focuses on accurate order picking, packing, and moving product by hand while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Position:
Material Handler / Picker (Weekend Shift) Client: (Jacksonville, FL)
Schedule:
Friday–Sunday | 6:00 AM–6:00 PM (12-hour shifts) Pay Rate: $17.75/hr Type:
Temp / Seasonal (as applicable)
- Pick orders accurately using an RF scanner and/or pick tickets
- Pack, sort, label, and stage cartons for shipment
- Build and wrap pallets as needed (hand-wrapping)
- Move product and cartons by hand and with standard warehouse carts/pallet jacks as assigned (no powered equipment required)
- Check item quantities, locations, and report damages/shortages
- Keep work area clean and organized; follow all safety rules and PPE requirements
- Meet productivity goals and maintain strong attendance for the weekend schedule
- Warehouse picking/packing or material handling experience preferred (willing to train reliable candidates)
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic scanner/warehouse system comfort
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance for Fri–Sun 6 AM–6 PM
