Jacksonville Skilled Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Director of Business Development & Marketing to join our growing leadership team!

This is a leadership position reporting to the Administrator and working in conjunction with our Vice President of Business Development to support the company in its efforts to achieve facility and regional goals and objectives. The focus is on increasing occupancy and revenue by building strong relationships with hospital case workers, discharge planners, physicians, and community partners while helping create an exceptional customer experience for residents and families.

• Create and maintain professional relationships with hospital social workers, case managers, physicians, and referral sources
• Communicate with physicians regarding referrals and facility services
• Coordinate with the financial office regarding census accuracy, insurance verification, Medicare, and Medicaid eligibility
• Manage referral flow and admissions processes, including community outreach and customer experience
• Meet census goals by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
• Lead weekly and monthly meetings focused on business development goals
• Guide internal and external sales and marketing programs
• Assist with market research, surveys, demographic analysis, and competitive analysis
• Help improve occupancy systems including tours, inquiry handling, follow-up, and customer satisfaction

• 2+ years of related experience, preferably in healthcare marketing or long-term care
• Motivated and organized team player
• Self-starter able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Passionate about helping others and supporting quality resident care
