Extended School Year Program Specialist
Function:
To provide services to meet the educational needs of students with an IEP requiring extended school year services.
Knowledge and
Skills:
Understanding of characteristics of working with students with special needs
Essential
Job Duties:
- Provide instruction to students based upon specific IEP goals and objectives.
- Plan and develop specific programming based on each student's IEP.
- Document student progress through the ESY program.
- Record and document attendance.
- Communicate with parents/guardians relative to student progress and/or needs.
- Perform other such duties as may be reasonably assigned.
