Overview
Domino's Pizza is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our 901 W Morton Ave location in Jacksonville, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily store operations and manage shifts efficiently
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve performance goals
- Ensure high-quality customer service standards are consistently met
- Handle cash management and financial transactions accurately
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Answer phone calls and process customer orders promptly
- Support the store manager in implementing company policies and procedures
- Assist in training and developing new team members
- Resolve customer complaints and address concerns professionally
- Contribute to creating a positive and collaborative work atmosphere
- Proven experience in restaurant or retail management, preferably in the food service industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Proficiency in math and problem-solving for effective cash handling and inventory management
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills for order processing and reporting
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for customers and team members
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience leading a team; during your shift, you will manage a staff of anywhere from 3 to 30 people, using motivation to place team members in the right positions at the right times while maintaining a positive work environment
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. You will also need access to a reliable vehicle that is insured and have a valid driver s license
- Being a role model in punctuality, attitude, customer service, teamwork, and professional appearance
- Stores open 365 days a year; flexibility to work when the team needs you the most, including weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
