- General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering product and service questions, and addressing customer needs.
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Using a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Cleaning direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Possibly cross‑training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
