Community Life Coordinator | PRN

In this PRN (as needed) role, you'll support the daily quality of life for residents by planning, coordinating, and facilitating engaging programs and events. This position provides flexible, supplemental coverage to support resident engagement during scheduled activities, events, outings, and special programming needs—while maintaining a resident-centered approach grounded in dignity, respect, and inclusion.

Pay Range: $21.05-$31.60 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule:
PRN (as needed). Hours vary based on programming needs, events, and coverage. Applications are reviewed as received and accepted until the position is filled.

What You'll Own:
Create Meaningful Programs & Experiences:
- Plan and facilitate engaging programs that reflect resident interests, wellness goals, creativity, and social connection
- Serve as host or facilitator for activities and events, guiding group flow and encouraging participation
- Monitor resident engagement and adjust pacing or approach to support inclusion and positive experiences
- Create a welcoming environment for residents with diverse physical, cognitive, and emotional needs, including those living with dementia
- Promote resident dignity, independence, and choice through respectful communication and support
Plan, Coordinate & Execute
Activities:
- Coordinate on-campus and off-campus programs, outings, and special events
- Manage logistics, including schedules, transportation, supplies, and staffing
- Safely transport residents to and from outings using company or approved vehicles
- Set up and break down program spaces, including furniture movement and materials
- Coordinate with vendors, community partners, and internal teams to support events
- Track expenses and support responsible use of program budgets
Documentation, Communication & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate documentation for activities, participation, and program outcomes
- Collect and submit receipts, invoices, and required records in a timely manner
- Support activity calendars, flyers, and promotional materials
- Communicate clearly with residents and families about schedules and program details
- Use computer systems and software to support scheduling, documentation, and reporting
What You Know and Have Experienced:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and facilitate group activities with structure and warmth
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Creative and adaptable approach to programming
