Transport Driver

Chartwells K12 aims to make sure students leave the cafeteria happier and healthier by serving food they love to eat and creating custom dining programs across more than 4,300 schools.

Working as a member of the transportation team, this individual will use a company-owned vehicle to deliver products or render services over an established route.

• Respond to transport requests with a sense of urgency, meeting time delivery goals
• Follow department protocols using the dispatch system appropriately
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• Complete necessary logs and reports
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Resolve or report vehicle, building, security, or safety issues to management
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills, service/Quality focused to meet a wide range of needs
• Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions

Fixed Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus available. 

Location:

East Saint Louis School District – 1005 State Street, Jacksonville, IL 62650.

Schedule:

Full‑time Monday through Friday (hours may vary).
